Drove the Z and cleannnnned.
|
On the Z: drove around with a boofsquire rack
On the Mog: Removed all wheels, dismounted tires, stripped wheels (plan to have them blasted and repainted). 155/15 tires came in :p Replaced inner and outer front wheel bearings Removed calipers and stripped 50 years of grime off them. Disassembled calipers for blasting and a rebuild. Next is installing the full leather interior and replacing front seal. |
Installed springs while raining.. :happydance:

Watched my front lip fly off on the highway...
I guess when I had a "spirited" run hitting 220 (km) that was too much for the lip and my bolt on job lol. I had slowed down to a normal type speed but i guess the damage was done...all my doing bright side, when i came home and went into my garage, I didn't scrape lol |

Doing glass is basically like 95% dependant on the towel. Exterior glass I use decent amount of WindowCleaner. |

I finished detailing the Z including clay, two coats of Meguiar's Ultimate paste wax, and full interior with the exception of the following:
Tire and trim dressing (Super VRT due to arrive tomorrow) Rear bumper clay and wax Carpet cleaner for floor boards, hatch carpet, seats, and door panels. |
My Z got dusty from the garage so I dusted if off, wax is still silky slippery....last time I drove it, 2 weeks ago.
She's happy being away from the harse elements. Meanwhile my WRX is loving this cool/cold weather. ;) |
Used Dr. Colorchip to get rid of few chips on the hood and fender.

2nd wash and wheel detail in 2 days. Put a little too much tire goo on the rears and nearly spun out leaving my development. Wacky SC.
Paid to have the interior detailed because I really hate doing it plus the kid at the carwash gets a kick out of pulling it around. |
