Put my new clutch return spring in, feels different but still has the abrupt engage point that is all or nothing, but is easier to push the clutch in.

What's this Fun Days trace event at Nelson Ledges you speak of??? Sounds like fun and it's not real far from me.

Guess I'm going to have to take a peak into the SoCal section more often.

Maybe next year I can attend that... assuming it's not during an election and I can take a couple of days off.

There was even a guy from Alabama, I think. And once in a while, not in Z Nationals, but XwChriswX drives down here from Arizona.

Also met Nissan 370Z Designer Randy Rodriguez, whom I had an opportunity to meet and also signed my dashboard . Pic of him cleaning his Magma Red 2013 (pre-show).

^ This, and also:

Bought the Z last Monday (4-22). Sold the 5.0 back in January. Traded the S2K in on the Z.

Originally my plan was to DD the S2K until the C7 launched, but I kind of woke up and decided I would much rather travel and have a modest sports car than spend $70k on a loaded C7. Midnight Blue was also very hard to resist. Things just weren't working out with the S2K either (it started to feel unlucky) so I decided to make the move early. :yum:

Thought you loved the 5.0 What happened? Also, how is the ride (NVH) in the 2013 vs earlier year models?

Oh I did, but I owned it for over 2 years and since I was planning on consolidating ahead of the C7, I figured I'd sell it and drive the S2000. Z came into play when I nixed the C7 idea. If the 5.0 and S2000 had a baby, it would be a 370Z.

NVH is good with the 13. Definitely less noise with the deadening materials they added. The new shock tuning is nice as well. Feels less skittish over uneven surfaces. I know my '09 sometimes felt like it had a solid axle going over rough roads. Not so much with the '13.

Overall it's been great so far. Lots of little improvements over my old one. Feels more polished, if that makes sense. I'm enjoying it. It's nice to be back.

Where did the nail hit? Some shops like Firestone in SD can repair them depending where the nail went. Had my rear tire repaired twice and never had issues on DD and spirited driving.

karotz, did you win at Z Nationals again this year? Your car looks great.
