I usually stop if I hear noise from the car when parking. I guess some people park one quarter mile at a time

/(too fast to stop and completely run over large cement blocks)

Can't always back in, but I usually stop about 32mi from the parking curb, because I haven't learned to judge the front end of the car yet. :icon17:

Yea I would say it was cuz I was running late to work, but in reality I was just going through my usual motions on my commute in. I have had the same commute in to work for the past 5 years and there has never been one sitting where I got trapped today. But the lesson to be learned is to slow down through that section now. I was nice, shut it down immediately as soon as I saw him which was well before I came even close to passing him and immediately turned into the parking lot just passed where he was sitting. He had to drive less than 50 yds to write me up. I already know with driving anything with sport in the classification ( i.e. sports car, sport bike, etc) is a dead to rights ticket. Pay to play.

The fine is $180.00 + (if I opt for driving school)

I wonder if he would of wrote me up if I was in a Prius :stirthepot:

He might have slapped the crap out of his radar gun if you were going fast in a Prius.

Is it even possible to speed in a Prius? (never driven one)

I had a very busy day today!

-Woke up and drove down to the beach

-Surfed for two hours, then realized I parked on a street that had street sweeping

-I was given a ticket for no front plate and for parking during street sweeping :owned:

-Drove my car over to my friends shop and had my SPL LCA bushings finally installed and realized my front tires were completely cupped on the inside

-Drove over to the CHP office and had the plate ticket signed off

-Drove to Allen Tire and ordered a set of 4 Bridgestone Potenza RE760's

-Tires should be in tomorrow and will be mounted, balanced, aligned and filled with Nitrogen!

Tires are in and being mounted, parking tickets were paid today too!

Productive day :icon17:

You are probably right and I have never driven one either. Hope I never do.

But if I did....when he asked me if I knew why he pulled me over. I would of responded, "Yes I was racing that Toyota Camry and I was winning until you pulled me over!" :roflpuke2:

Much more than mine! I dread when I have to pay my ticket.

You do know its supposed to have a dry surface. The antiseize can hit the rotor.....bad idea. Everything is dry and dry torqued for that specific reason.

I would say so. This statement may make you cringe: I get passed by them when I'm going 80 down the toll road.

I know right? I'm watching everything and trying to be good, because I KNOW if it's me and a Camry or anything else non sporty seen going over, I'll get the ticket. So I just let 'em blow right by me and resist the urge to teach them a lesson. Damn PoPo

It's between the hub and the spacer so the lugs will be torqued down dry. The anti seize is recommended by almost everybody on here and the vendors

Yup. And, screw it, I'll conserve my gas for the fun roads.
