Had about 6 hours to work on the car today. Swapped the old rear end back in, put the OEM struts and springs back on the car, Swapped back to my OEM intake and intake manifold, swapped to the original brake pads that came with the car, front and rear sway bars swapped back to OEM, Oem battery reinstalled and the relocated battery removed and the wires pulled out, pulled out most of my nitrous wires, rear camber kit removed and replaced back with OEM.....A lot done today but still a LOT to do tomorrow. Would really like to get these Momentum headers pulled out tomorrow but I don't think I'm gonna have the time with no help.....

A second undershroud. I had two shipped to me to save on shipping to Canada, one for me, the other for a fellow forum member. The white one has the protective cover on it.

Waiz 08-15-2013 07:09 PM

Spent over an hour washing the car last night after I noticed that the wheels were getting dirty inside the barrels

It was my first time washing it after getting it out of the shop a few weeks back and since they detailed it for me it was really easy to wash

The silver goes for $175 plus shipping. Joe gave me a bit of a deal because I bought three of them. Two came to Canada and one went to Florida.

Z doesn't need it since I can fit my whole hand in the wheel, I only use it on the Fit since I the wheel is so much smaller :icon17:

:icon18:

I actually stopped applying dressing on the Z and my Fit after noticing my old tires on the Z cracking

Although I was probably applying way too much dressing back then I just stopped applying entirely

I dont bother dressing them either. I hate the look of shiny tires.
Usually a good cleaner and a brush, rinse and they look like new tires again.

Did the middle of the summer full detail today - Wash, dry, full vacuum, polish and full wax, tires/wheels anything I could think of!

Time to go and make friends with the Autobahn after all this :) Kill some bugs and have to clean it again before the evening! I must love this Z and cars in general. Hope all of you are having a Z-wonderful summer!

I added oil to the Z then took the XKE to work. I'm picking up groceries tonight and need the my cargo carrying vehicle.

Tomorrow I'm changing out my clutch fluid for fresh in hopes of keeping it going longer.

 I just picked up some Motul RBF600 brake fluid for my clutch earlier today. I've got a buddy coming over this evening to hang out, and I will get him to help me with the flush if he's interested. Otherwise, I'll be doing it tomorrow.

When I first installed my extended O2 sensors on my CNT test pipes I angled them downward not knowing I could move the nut and angle them upward, so I ended up scraping them and severing a wire resulting in a
persistent CEL light. Took that sucker off today, cut through the metal. pulled out the wire and soldered it back together. No more pointless CEL light or expensive O2 sensor replacement. :) Angles were fixed a while ago.

Looks good! Dark colors require a lot of blood sweat and tears to maintain but the end result is fantastic.

I took the Z on its first road trip. By the time I'm back she'll have an additional 700+ miles on her (and probably the same amount of bugs on the bumper)
