Last night, I started working on a custom Z fog light using a 48 LED panel inside the dummy lens and housing. Finished it up today, and I am quite please with the results. I painted the inside of the housing white for some additional reflection. It is currently wired up to come on with the parking lights, though I have more complicated future plans such as override switch in the center console, flashing reverse, etc..

I'm just about to move my Z from the Bay area to Denver (January 20th or so)
Soooo.... how to mod? 1. PSS a/t I think to help with cooler grip. (no brainer) 2. rock bra (vinyl) to Keep the winter gravel off my hood. (Also a no brainer) Here is my question: -I live at 9000 feet, -I work at 5500 feet (Denver Airport) -My car was last upreved at sea level (San Jose California after a bunch of bolt-ons) Do I need a re-tune (maybe add a high-altitude, cool air map for Colorado driving)????? It seems like a good idea, but I don't really know much about that stuff. Help from any of you tuning gurus would be awesome!!!! |
thinking of ordering some blacked out emblems and license plate frames with red 370z lettering.

I went to San Francisco yesterday, it was really busy tons of traffic. I drive a manual car so it was intense, also the hills where a little of a challenge but nothing i couldn't handle. Fun drive in San Francisco.

Now that I'm moving to Colorado, I'm thinking of a mild supercharger. (5psi??)
I want a safe engine that pulls at altitude. My wife has finally stopped bugging me about not asking "permission" to buy a car she hates. (lol) so it's time to stop worrying about a forced sell (spouse induced) and start some real tweaking!!! Fun. |
Waiting on the wing to get here then install soon. :happydance:
