Looks to me like the paint is cracking
Simple fix is get rid of the coupe and get a roadster...  Cheaper solution is find a good body shop that can repair it hopefully without a repaint

That is the roof moulding it is plastic,the previous owner may have had a windshield replaced in which case both left and right side roof moulding have to come off and if you don't know how to remove them they will break.
