OK -- assume you have the ramps in place. I approach the driveway at about a 45 degree angle with the front wheels straight. As soon as the front wheels are on the driveway itself, I staighten the car out and slowly enter the driveway all the way. Backing out it the reverse (no pun intended) of this procedure.

Lucky I live in a nice area. But yea I need to get it in a garage asap lol. Me and my buddy thought about ramps. But I believe y'all underestimate my driveway lol. Those pics can't compare. Seriously just contemplating selling the house lol.

Yea I tried to get a decent pic but the sun is blaring at me and makes it difficult. It is very steep. The first quarter of it or so has a huge angle to it. From there on it's not too bad. I thought about backing up but then realized I'll just scrape when I come down lol.

just make a ramp for the curb, drive over grass into garage. your HOA will love it.

I'm still waiting for the punch line...

Today's humor is wack!

The driveway doesn't have to have a big curb, it is about how quickly it inclines... the modern driveways like above have a short quick slope from the street which is what makes it bad for lowered cars... my driveway has a huge curb at the end but I can generally role down it pretty easily because of the length.

Ironically I have a tiny bump up going into the garage and my exhaust scrapes like mad on it so I needed to build ramps out of 2x10s.

Ramps is the only thing I can think of. Unless you angle it into the grass, lift the Z, sell the house, park on the street and get a good alarm with good insurance.

Alexshen1 08-09-2012 02:01 PM

the problem for u is the dip b4 the ramp. in this case a ramp would be perfect

ddot196 08-09-2012 02:32 PM

Thanks for suggestions. Yea me and my neighbor looked at it too. He knows a concrete guy said he can come take a look at it. Either that or ramps. Or sell the house lol. ThAnks for the help.

kenchan 08-09-2012 02:48 PM

id just get some plywood boards, cut them to size, stack them up to shape, screw them together and use that until you sell the house. lol
