Maybe it's not stiffer. 2013 GTR more forgiving, but still hasn't lost a beat in it's handling. Your comment regarding 50 to 60 age bracket. I hope so, I'm getting one

Maybe that is why they also took out the fangs and made it more business like looking car to broaden the age bracket of potential buyers.

I remember there was a poll on this forum that majority of Z owners of the old look 2012 and below are at the 20's to 30's age bracket.

I think the LED's are out of place by themselves. If you did some headlight LED's I think it would being the entire front lighting together.

All in all, I'd say the LED's are not for me though. Personal opinion of course.

When I was picking up my car last week, many Nissan customers were walking around the car giving it compliments. 2 Z owners that were there for the Service Department mentioned the car looks more mature now and refined now. That's the look I wanted.

There's plenty of 12s around still for people wanting the older look, but I couldn't be happier

SWEET cars, guys. I'm kind of jealous right now. I think I do prefer the 13 bumper, but I definitely prefer the previous sport rims. I like the darker color on the 13, but I love love LOVE the design of the older sport rims over the new ones. The new ones seem less aggressive to me.

Vaughanabe, This is almost exactly how I felt when I first saw the 13 in pictures.

Now after seeing the 13, two times in person. I really, really like the 13 bumper a lot. I understand how you feel about the rims, as the 12 sport rims are very nice. But the 13's with the darker color and red calipers aren't as bad in person. Maybe if Nissan kept the design of the 12 rims but made it Gun Metal, that might have been a good compromise.

But, overall I'm very happy with my decision to go with the 13. Hopefully I'll be posting pics in 2 weeks!

Not sure on brightness Beks, but what I can tell you is I went running yesterday after work when sun was setting a bit. Down the street, a car was coming towards me with it's LED's on and I could tell it was located high by the regular head lights, so first thing I thought was Mercedes or Audi.

Well it was a Mercedes. That's exactly why I thought Nissan put the LED's where they did on the Z as well as the GTR. From a distance, you will immediately recognize that it's a Nissan and not a German car. Kudo's to Nissan

yea, that's totally understandable! i love the placement.
on sixty's picture though, they didn't look that bright and white, more like a little bit yellowish, i don't know :/

Lol at acting like your 2013 is special, it's the same freaking car. I mean seriously if I saw one on the other side of the road it's still a 370z to me, little fangs and lights are weak differences, new wheels are a disaster so not even worth mentioning.
