I drove mine 900 miles home the day I bought it. St. Louis to Houston. It took me 200 miles to get the seat just right, but it was perfectly fine after that. The only unpleasant part was not using cruise control since it was brand new.

I drove from Chicago to Phoenix in two days. 1753 miles each way. Did the round trip in 4 days. Felt like I was "putting the car on" instead of getting in it at gas stations and rest areas. Loved the trip tho. On the way home, hit Vegas first, so the return trip added about 300 miles. Caught a wierd snow in New Mexico. They threw gravel down for traction. Needed a new windshield when I got home.

Sent while driving.....

The Z is surprisingly comfortable for long road trips. I have actually driven much more 'road friendly' cars which are not nearly as comfortable. I think I just like bucket-ish seats.

Over 800 miles when I picked it up in Kansas and drove home to Cleveland.

Since my last post in here I have done an 800 mile trip (Austin to Balmorhea State Park and back) and a 900 mile trip (Austin to Palo Duro Canyon State Park and back) in one day. Very comfortable :driving:

That's funny Chuck, we must've done the same thing. I flew to Mississippi, bought the car (used) and then drove home to Indy. Mine was only 500 mi or so to drive home (and was uncomfortable for me for the last 100 miles).

As long as you didn't buy it from the same scumbag dealer I did,

The last two or three hours was rough. Luckily I had a few people who would call me every so often and make me check in.

~400mi, the day I bought it (in Vegas) and drove it home (to Phoenix).

Flew into Vegas and was out (with a test drive) in maybe an hour and a half. Was probably less.
