have them email you an invoice via paypal (payment request) with the details of the goods you want to buy. then you send money. you know what you're paying for and have the necessary info to dispute if something goes wrong. GL.

Your better off paying buy credit card at least your protected and can file a dispute if you are screwed. Paypal is really only protected when you purchase the item directly thru ebay and pay by paypal.

Never let a merchant send you a paypal invoice, the merchant, individual or seller can completely rip you off and not even send you anything and paypal will do nothing about and your out the money.

yah, ask them to send you the invoice to your email address associated to your paypal. you can use your credit card to make the paypal payment if you want double protection (paypal and creditcard).

worst is if you send them money and there's no description of the goods, shipping address, etc.

no, only when there's a problem( and you can't resolve with the vendor) do you involve paypal to make a dispute.

if it's a regular transaction, the payment request will come to you via email, you log into your paypal account to send money (by creditcard if you want), and the vendor will send you the final receipt (invoice) along with the tracking info when the part ships out... just like any online purchase.

Off ebay transactions thru paypal can only be successfully disputed if the payment is connected to a normal mastercard or visa card.

Most off ebay disputes thru paypal are most often decided in the favor of the seller or reciever of the funds, once this happens if your funds were sent thru paypal and debited against your credit card, you can then file a dispute with your own credit card company to get the money returned to you, even if paypal denies the claim.

You can open up a paypal account that is directly connected to a credit card, that way the payment is deducted or added to your credit card bill as a charge submitted by paypal.

What ever you do don't let them send you a paypal invoice or just transfer funds to them, they are as good as lost if anything goes wrong.

Note! There are also tutorials that explain how to rip PPL. off using paypal and ebay.

What exact type of transaction are you trying to do and who or what is the company involved.

Note if they are any type of reputable firm or company then they should accept payment by credit card.

Most of the places that only accept paypal are usually someone working out of their garage or basement etc.
