i just sold my 06 MR to a guy in winnepeg actually. I live in Savannah, Georgia. I was running 11.5xx at the track. Stock turbo, stock block, stock head, stock ecu. All i had was TBE, cams, intake, and meth. Made 423 awhp and 426 torqe. I miss her. But had to get my priorities straight for a while.

Steven at Amplified said both the HKS coil overs and the Magden computer are pretty easy installs. So to try and save a few bucks (for more toys) I'll give them a whirl. (Helps that I work at a dealership and can use a lift)

I'm trying not to get involved in this again, but you're making it hard. Don't make posts that you ASSUME others will interpret the same way as you . It was a post that included inaccurate information and you got called out on it. Nobody would assume that you were talking about the MR only. The obvious and logical response is going to be to assume that you don't know what you are talking about.

I was hoping I had already cleared this up, but since it's apparent that it still being confused I will clarify. The Evo X MR is not an auto. The GT-R is not an auto. They have a dual clutch which uses paddle shifters. This is not the same as an automatic transmission. Just because there is no stick shift and clutch pedal does not make it an auto. The physics are completely different behind an auto and a dual clutch.

I don't want everyone to get read your posts and think they are automatic transmissions, because they are not. As for your debate on whether or not we should have assumed you meant the MR, I'm not going to comment on that.

I get what you are saying but thats one car. There are many EVO's that will lose to a tt Z of any generation so no need to bring up the big dog street EVO everytime someone talks of beating a EVO. I think what he's trying to get at is just as "easily" as someone can slap twins on a Z, someone can slap parts on an Evo and be even faster.

There's always gonna be a car that's faster than you. Just like I'm faster than a ton of Zs, there's plenty of Zs that are faster than me.

Looks is purely subjective and in the eye of the beholder. Besides the Evo may look like a rice crispy magnet but all those front spoilers, wings, hood scoops, and vortex generators are actually functional. You wouldnt call a racecar beautiful would u? No i didnt think so but it would still hand you your *** on a platter on a track. Same thing goes for a Nismo 370z. No one likes the wing and other parts of the car but it still would get better lap times than a normal 370.

You should really watch running your mouth and saying that Evo drivers are lil 17 yr old teens who walk in Vin Diesels shoes or they are rice crispy magnets. All of my friends who have Evo's are really respectful and are down to earth car guys. Hell even random Evo drivers who see me on the streets usually throw a thumbs up or say nice car at the pump.

Let me start off by saying the 370z is a beautiful car. However, to say you think everyone stares at that car that much more than any other car.... well you're just fooling yourself. It's a good looking car, but it's no exotic.

It's sad to hear that you think attraction is about the car you drive. Where girls there may be obsessed with money, it does not make them attracted to you. They may put looks behind money, but still doesn't mean money = attractiveness.

I think you have some twisted perception of Evo's for some reason. Where you may find them ugly, many others do not. I like them because they are aggressive looking and in your face. No, it doesn't have curvy body line like the Z, but that does not make it ugly. So all the Evo owners there try to race you, great. This has been discussed to death and back about stock vs stock - and quite honestly how many people on this forum who care about track times are stock? LOL.. the only reason that the X is so slow on that track is because the mitsu canned tune is crap and the car comes running EXTREMELY rich. No bolt ons + a tune on the X will get it closer to the Zs time maybe even faster. Lets not get into a pissing match - just saying..
