Steven at Amplified said both the HKS coil overs and the Magden computer are pretty easy installs. So to try and save a few bucks (for more toys) I'll give them a whirl. (Helps that I work at a dealership and can use a lift)

I'm trying not to get involved in this again, but you're making it hard. Don't make posts that you ASSUME others will interpret the same way as you . It was a post that included inaccurate information and you got called out on it. Nobody would assume that you were talking about the MR only. The obvious and logical response is going to be to assume that you don't know what you are talking about.

Ask myself why someone would say that? I'd think because they have absolutely no clue what they're talking about.

if you do your homework on the evo x you would know that if someone says the evo x doesnt even come in stick they must be talking about the mr. yeah i admit that i should've posted that in my post and not expect everyone to know that i must be talking about the mr. i mean its sooooo hard to understand the fact that the evo x auto he must be talking about the mr.

I was hoping I had already cleared this up, but since it's apparent that it still being confused I will clarify. The Evo X MR is not an auto. The GT-R is not an auto. They have a dual clutch which uses paddle shifters. This is not the same as an automatic transmission. Just because there is no stick shift and clutch pedal does not make it an auto. The physics are completely different behind an auto and a dual clutch.

I don't want everyone to get read your posts and think they are automatic transmissions, because they are not. As for your debate on whether or not we should have assumed you meant the MR, I'm not going to comment on that.

So is an Evo X GSR not an Evo X? Because making an idiotic blanket statement like "the Evo X only comes in auto" would imply not only the MR, but the GSR as well, since they're BOTH Evo Xs.

I get what you are saying but thats one car. There are many EVO's that will lose to a tt Z of any generation so no need to bring up the big dog street EVO everytime someone talks of beating a EVO. You know they can be beaten and have been by tt Z's in the past. BTW didnt IP do 8's in a stock bodied Z? I could be wrong as I havent been keeping up lately.
