my truck got hit-and-run 4 weeks after i bought it brand new, granted it's not worth as much nor my dream car, but i feel your pain. as long as the car gets fixed correctly (seriously, be anal about, find friends that do body work for 3rd party inspections of the work as it is done) and that you get compensated for the disparity in value it now will have compared to how it was. if it's fixed correctly it will be good as new, just with the extra weight of that coin in your pockets ready to spend on mods
