When inside the car, the sound emanates from the dash (between you and the engine, duh, lol), makes it hard to totally locate it. As Spearfish states, it goes back to the G37. If you are quiet after you turn off your engine, it will continue for about 3 seconds then die off. I can't hear it when the car is running, so I ignore it now.

Sorry but I choose not to ignore it, it gives me and my wife a splitting headache.

Well all I can say is you must have a louder pitch than the rest of us have, you can't even hear it on my car when the motor is running.

Even with the radio on you can hear it, you have to have the radio on loud to mask it. My dad got in the car today for the first time and before we got out of the parking lot he asked 'what is that noise'.
