I brought my car to a state inspection shop and saw that almost all the employees were gathering around my Z talking about it :) The person who inspected it then came up to me and said "nice car!"

Went to Taylor Falls in WI, to eat at Romayne's bar and grille. Heard some family talking about a nice 370Z and how they took pics of it and posing by the car. As my wife and I ate we sat there quielty enjoying our burgers. :)


Later on coming home from the mini road trip on 694:

There was a Mercury Cougar in front of me....driving stupidly.

As he was exiting my wife was going to look at him and call him a dumb***....then she sees him pointing franctically at my Z as his G/F tried to look for what car he is talking about. Wife said she can read his lips saying, "that car, look" while pointing.

I was parked at target a couple days ago. When I came back to my car, I noticed a police car parked one row over from where I was. she had a clear view of my car, and I just had a feeling something was fishy. (she was on the car with the cop car on)
As I turn my car on, and get ready to pull out, she comes up next to me by the passanger side, in my mind I'm like..I wonder wtf she is going to say.

Anways, she comes up with the cop car on the passenger side and tells me "nice FRS" I replied with.." It's a 370z, but thank you" She then said " oh, you're right, either way I love your car", she then asked how I liked it so far etc.
She thought it was an FRS at first, I don't know how haha. She was telling me how she has an FRS and how she loves driving her little, small, sports car after driving the cop car all day. She said she has yet to mess with the paddles on her car, and I told her to go ahead and try them haha.

So, I don't know if its a compliment with her calling it an FRS at first..more like an Insult IMO, but hey, she's a cop so that's cool. haha she said she loved it! :D

Sounds like one hell of a fantasy, you sure you weren't at the bar and had a few too many drinks :icon18:

Dislike the FRS and 9/10 the people that are behind the wheel, just from personal experiences..

Pulled up to a red light and a car with two women pull up next to me. They said, "Nice Car...are you married?"

When I had my 350Z, it would constantly turn heads. I had quite a bit of show and bolt on breather mods. Had two girls ask for a ride at the same time. I explained it had to be one of them at a time. The pretty cute redhead told me she would ride anywhere alone with me in that.

As for my 370z, the old ladies in my apartment complex love it and tell me how shiny it is. Immediately they begin to reminisce about the old days in their 60's mustangs.

My favorite though is hitting the gas station once every two weeks. I always catch quite a few point and stares.

Dude...I had 3 girls in he Z the other day. One sat on another's lap and the other was in the trunk. Gotta do what you gotta do! :tup:

Had some white trash girls at Hardees say, "Nice Porsche!"

Ive had a good amount of thumbs up and waves saying nice ride. Had a ton of those younger girls stop and stare, pisses wife off to no end when she sees it and says, "HES MARRIED!"

I had a couple walking across a car park in front of me this morning while parking. He was avoiding looking at the car while his girlfriend was staring. As I got out she said "Hey, really nice car".... Needless to say it resulted in a particularly filthy look from her boyfriend!

In my area I'd flip that around. I love the Z and the FRS, but I dislike most of the 370Z owners around here. All the FRS owners in my area are car guys. The Z owners are bankers or midlife crisis people.

At a party the other week I had an older guys ask me if it was a porsche (I take that as a compliment). I do get many more compliments on my license plate than my car though.
