At least the security camera right above you will capture his dastardly deed should he whack your Z.

If communicating like adults fails, call Mr.onzedge and I. We will be more than happy to pay you a visit and look into the possibility of tipping his Toyota on its side well into his parking space.

He is really taking advantage of the situation and is not a good neighbour. Good luck.

Buy him a six pack and talk to him like a good neighbor and call it a day. Tell him some kids tried to mess with his bike and you told them to stop. He'll do the same for you next time. Once you get your Z you can ask him to watch out for your car as well.

I like this idea. Be the bigger person, if no cooperation then EVIL MUHAHAHAHA.

yep, when in doubt, initiate dialog. that usually helps to understand and take out the mystery (bad or good).
then you'll know wat to do next.

Just hang these on your car....

no wait......They would probably look better if you hung them on his car.

Yeah talk to him first, it doesn't matter that your are getting a new car or not. Just tell him you just would like a little more consideration with parking right on the line. That space is plenty for 2 cars and a bike. And I don't see why the bike couldn't be parked in front of his car, that's how I see it almost always done here in the city, there's usually not enough space in spots for a car let alone a car and bike. Also why is there furniture in his spot?

Here is a picture. The GMC Jimmy was my father-in-law's, who passed away a few years ago but the Z will be there any moment now. This is where I live Monday-Friday but my own house has a nice attached garage. The problem is you can only cheat so far, the pillar to the right is a real danger to the driver door if you back in. The Z is even wider than the GMC. The dimensions look a bit deceptive in that the pillar next to the drivers door is closer than it looks in the picture. If all else fails I'll just drive the Z when I get back home on the weekends. His motorcycle isn't in the picture but it's now kept between the pillar and his car.

Now that I see the picture, what a jerk this guy is. As I said before, he's one of those people in the world where it's all about him. Here's another idea...why don't YOU park on that line before he does. Or...pick up some old P.O.S. motorcycle or dirt bike from the junk yard and keep it parked there near that line. People like this don't respond to being nice. They could care less. Good luck!

I thought of that but I don't think he gives a **** about his vehicle so I might just end up with a ding.

didymus 06-22-2012 05:10 PM

Has he dinged your car? If anything i would talk to him in person, ask him to be careful with the doors. But based on the pic theres a lot of room on the sides of both vehicles

vividracing 06-22-2012 06:36 PM

Just ask if he'd mind putting the car further away from your spot, with the bike on the side closer to your car.

kenchan 06-22-2012 07:09 PM

Or just get a car dolly and re-park his car on the other side. Lol

mhcoss 06-22-2012 07:26 PM

that picture belongs in the crappy parkers thread. He has way more room than he needs for his bike. I'd would most definitely bring this up with him. It will seem confrontational but he needs to not park like a jack@$$
