Suggested arson is bad, bad, bad. ***Reported to Moderators***

It was said in jest. If the OP goes through with it... well he didnt get the disclaimer in life that he would be held responsible.

Tell him to park the bike in front of his stupid car!!!

If you really reported this comment you NEED to get a sense of humor...

EDIT... It's too late to get one now that I think of it...

GaleForce 06-21-2012 10:34 AM

I would wipe poop on his car door handles and motor bike grips, then wait for pink eye to set in.

*this is merely what I might do, I in no way suggest that you do this*

My sense of humor ends when people recommend arson as a way to settle scores. If you had lost loved ones due to arson that started as a joke, I don't think you'd be all that amused by its suggestion also.

I used to think it was pretty funny too -- torch a car here and there -- no big deal to do this if you are making a point. Seriously, what's a Molotov Cocktail or two between friends? Whopping it up on a Friday night with some homemade thermite -- those were the days I can tell you. Nothing gets giggles quite like the gasoline and potassium permanganate in the glass bottle randomly tossed at an SUV, if you ask me.

But the fun ends when someone gets hurt. Imagine losing your parents in a horrible fire, their bodies burned to a crisp and beyond recognition, all of their worldly possessions reduced to ashes -- just because someone thought it woudl be cute to torch their car because they parked to close to the line. Then the burning car engulfed their home, taking away the dearest people in the world to you. can you imagine how that would feel? -- How that moment of retribution escalated into unspeakable tragedy? Can you imagine that? Can you?

It never happened to me, but I guess it would be awful if it had.

The thead below about the Z getting hit by other cars got me to thinking. Right now I have a house with attached garage so no problemo when I'm parking at home but I also have an apartment paid by the gov where I work that has underground parking. I have a spot beside a guy with a beat up car and a crappy motorcycle. In order for him to park the motorcycle and his car, he has to cheat way over near the line on my parking spot. We both have two spots enclosed within large concrete pillars on the ends of the two spots. Not an issue now but when I take possesion of the Z I was thinking of writing a note and putting it on his windshield asking to move over a bit. Do you think this is risky or out of line? I'm a bit worried about repercussions and I try to be non confrontational to a fault. Basically it has gotten worse and his tires are just about practically on the painted parking line. I can't cheat too far away from him because there is a huge pillar that could **** up my door. It's pissing me off thinking about it. I don't want to go to the building staff just yet and want to solve it in a mature fashion. Any advice?

If I am reading you correctly, it sounds like he is parking both his car and bike in the same spot which I'm assuming is made for one vehicle, either bike or car. If that's the case, he's breaking the rules set by your apt complex which I believe should be brought to the attention of the apt. super. If you choose to bring this to the attention of the super, take a picture of it for evidence. Having said that, talking to the guy first is the best way to go but unless you know him pretty well, he may take it in an aggressive way. Here's a passive aggressive approach....cover your car even when it's in the parking garage and he might just get the suttle message that you're someone who actually cares about how your car looks and he may get it that he needs to be extra careful. If nothing else, your car will be protected from any dings. Either way...this is just another example of people who just don't give a *f.... I see it all the time. It's all about them! I love my 370Z and have to park it far away from other cars whenever I go to a store. Luckily I have a house where I can park my Z but I still cover it. I guess it's the price we pay to have such an awesome car!

Holy sh*t, someone needs a hug. It was a joke. Not going to act like it was a funny one but still a joke. If you're easily offended by Internet banter you might be better suited at a book club or something a bit less "edgy" than a Nissan forum.

I do believe he was joking as well. Yes I do not condone arson. But Galeforce wanting to wipe poop on peoples rides and that gets a pass? No one is safe and I will feel for you when Galeforce has struck again and you get pink eye or worse E. Coli cuz you were too lazy to wash your hands before enjoying your meal. Sorry I will keep my comments to myself next time :wtf2:

Yep, I'm a badass. Let this be a lesson to everyone, wash your hands often. It's best to say the alphabet while washing to ensure a quality job has been done.

That is all.
