This is one auto you can drive with pride due to its capability. It makes you see the "SPORTS CARS" have an amazing alternate future. Good luck.

May I. Advise k&n filters, silicone hoses and stillen ground wire kit, just to improve transmission and throttle response. Midpipe resonators not needed. Also improves throttle. Car is stil quiet at idle, but louder on cold start and quick revving. It really wakes up. Makes it feel more like the sports car it should be.

Yup, paddle shifters are great. Got it in my GTI and it's very quick. Problem on the GTI is it turns with the wheel. To me it's much better in a fixed position.

Regarding transmission, wonder if there will be some tweaks on the 2013 to improve it? Getting the 6mt with my 2013Z, so getting the best of both worlds regarding trans.

Yeah, when I see pics of all the newer Porsche, Ferrari, and Lambo's all coming with paddle shifters, it kinda looks like everything is heading that way. I've never owned a car with paddle shifters but I feel the need to learn to use them.

As far as being upside-down on payments, I think I should actually be about 10k ahead of the game. Plus I have some cash to throw down so the payments shouldn't be a real big issue.

Shifting isn't causing any extreme discomfort, but it isn't really helping either. Of course, I'm 47 and already taking Cosamin on a regular basis. Had knee surgery years ago and work automotive retail for 10-12 hours a day standing.

I was thinking about getting another beater car as a daily driver but then my narcissistic side came out and said: "If I drive a beater, people 90% of the time won't see me in a kick-*** Z. #### that."

Then there's the killer Midnight Blue aspect......
