:hello: Z family

I got my shift knob yesterday and installed it at lunch  Will try to post a pic later today or tonight. Now I just need either a collar for the shift boot or a new, custom one... hrmmm... decisions decisions :icon17: now, back to work :shakes head:

Hey JAR! :hello: What kind/color knob did you go with? I know some people have gotten finisher-type collars made from plastic or rubber from the local hardware store and it looked just fine.

Good luck man!

Morning! Took the day off to handle some stuff. Since other people shared, here's a really old picture of me after winning a baby pageant. Apparently I ruined my hair right before they took the picture.

Cute pic Ms. Pint! :)

cvt is "continuously variable transmission", I believe. It's an automatic gearbox that I think has no gears?! I don't know. Maximas have them.

Hello all. I have been busy.

Drove the Z yesterday.. What a fun car, and just a great looking car, inside and out.

I don't drive it much, but when I do, it is worth having traded the 350Z for..

Buying a newer daily driver this week. A 2008 Sierra with 21K miles...Sweet newer daily driver...

I hope everyone has a great day.

I know, 3 black vehicles.....What a dummy....

Wow! Hey Bucket! Where ya been? Everything going ok man?

CVT sounds like pornography. Sounds good at the beginning but leaves you unsatisfied.

yah, continuous variable turtle. it's slow... on the new impreza's :ugh2: the 5MT does 8sec..but noone has any instock nor much inventory coming. i would need to wait 12wks.

nissan's new altima has a 7:1 ratio or something which is even more than the lexus 8sp AT's. lol the new altima 4banger does 0-60 in 7sec.... :eekdance: holy craps, probably faster than FRS/BRZ. :rofl2:

Aka, the rubber band tranny.

Very efficient, but very weak comparatively. A good manual driver can do almost as well, efficiency-wise....
