Once I fix the rod end the car will be fine again. And hopefully I will be less dramatic. :|

I get frustrated about this stuff somewhat easily.

What gets me is that when the Mustang was fairly stock it was a really nice DD. But since I essentially added some race suspension components (my lower control arms and Watts Link) it can be annoying. Its absolutely amazing through the corners and when you're on it, but at all other times it can get to you. The watts link uses spherical rod ends so every bit of noise from the rear end is transmitted to the cabin. And I recently had one of the rod-ends wear out so it sounds god awful at all times... over bumps and such the car sounds like its broken. Functions fine, but sounds terrible. I need to replace it and re-align.

I go back and forth between wanting a solid DD and a purely fun twisty road car. The problem is I have two purely fun twisty road cars right now. :icon17:

I will just fix the part and shut up. When everything is working right the 5.0 is fine to live with.

Kudos to my fiancée for not killing me yet because ALL I've been talking about this week is a GT500/M3/335/550/etc.

Wish I had enough $$ to buy a CTS-V Wagon. :yum:

Solution: sell suspension components to me for five dolla

If I do sell the car I'll cut you a deal.

Unless I sell it for a '11-'12 GT500. Then my parts are going on that car and I'll be right back to bitching again. But I'll have 600+ hp at least. :bowrofl:

I've noticed a trend since you started working out... I believe it's spiked your estrogen levels. Better tone things down a bit, or go for TRT. :icon17:

Don't be so hard on yourself. I think about trading my cars for something new every week, ranging from boring but smart choices (Jetta TDI) to practical fun (Golf R) to the ridiculous (CTS-V).

It's part of being an enthusiast, imo

Also, "rod end" *snicker, snicker*

I tell you what I'm really thinking about now... Drift Spec S2000 probably needs to go to Grip Spec.

I had to avoid a huge pole (:bowrofl:) that was in the middle of the highway at 75 mph today. The Ventus V4 ES hankrap tires barely held on.

They make the car FUN FUN FUN in a controlled environment because it slides and drifts and puts a huge smile on my face... but I think it might be time to put Super Sports on it. No more drifting. :(

Chiana is also much heavier and has power to spin its one wheel.

S2K won't be able to spin **** with PSS and I've got a nice torsen diff. It will just grip and zip! I suppose that is what it was designed for.

These aren't that bad for an all-season. They actually give decent feedback. Grip is limited but in my case that's good (for fun).

I think Hankrap tires in general are probably ok on a light car, but on a heavy car like the Z they stink. I hated the side wall flex when I was running V12s on mine.

Now when it comes to summer street rubber I think PSS. They would be great on this car!

BTW, Shado, since you're here... when are we gonna go golf?!
