Hi ms. pint. :hello:

Is the filter listed in the link the specific filter for a 370 Z? Thanks for posting this and the cleaner link.

Saw your pm, will respond in a bit.

gurney

Oh BTW - drove the Z to work today. Effing sprinklers on Westheimer are running too long and leaving puddles in the street, so Z gets a nice dirty water bath every morning. :ugh2:

That sucks. Do you have time to do a quick wipe down with some quick detail spray before walking into work?

Let's all hope and pray that you never need to use it.

Fire 08-16-2012 08:53 AM

Tru tow hooks are made to be looked at not used. But when you drive you car in anger it might have to be. Cause racecar.

If I molested it, it was the Z and I took an action. :D So technically it falls into topic.

Use gentle pressure and plenty of lube... :eekdance:

You know, on the filter!

No actually don't use too much it will cause problems if it gets into the intake, but you probably already know that.

So I didn't do a damned thing with my Z today so far and I probably won't do a damned thing with it later either because I'll get home too late, so let's see... On topic: I thought about how I wished I could drive my Z today. :ugh2:

Pintsize725 08-16-2012 10:32 AM

I crack myself up..... I think my fist would have worked better for her. :p

Stop driving so darned hard. Geesh. :icon17:

onzedge 08-16-2012 10:56 AM

Today, I rebalanced my front wheels. Well, Colin did it for me. I am puzzled why they go out-of-balance as quickly as they do. None of the weights fall off and I get maybe 1,500 miles before I get a bit of a shimmy.

Maybe it is the fault of the Pilot Super Sports.

This is an impossibility due to you having a manual transmission -- like my wife who refuses to drive auto. It takes work to keep up with her when I am following her driving the Juke.

The roads are hit and miss in terms of quality. Mostly they are decent to good -- at least the ones upon which I drive. Spacers? I have never heard of spacers causing an imabalance.

Spacer lips have been know to crack so I wonder if the wobble generated by that can cause balance issues

Yes I do drive too hard, in the estimation of others.
Maybe you are following in my foot steps and do not realize it. Perhaps your good advice to me applies back to you. :tiphat: All the best as always

On second thought it must be the tires fault.
