Is it just me, or do you laugh at all the "Fairlady" badges?

but I guess it takes someone FROM there to know this. Im not hating, its just annoying as fauh-dook!

The first car the be named the Fairlady wasn't a Z at all it was a Datsun Sports model the 1200. The Fairlady name was a reference to the Broadway musical My Fair Lady. Which by the way wasn't written in Japan.

So the name really doesn't belong solely to the people of Japan or the Z.

The Datsun Sport was the predecessor to the Z now, so it would in fact fit still as it was a Fairlady too!
