will 3.5 oil filters fit 3.7?

The filters for the VQ35 seem to have a different model number from the VQ37. Does anyone know if it will fit? 15208-65F0A for the VQ37 filter and 15208-65F0C for

Default will 3.5 oil filters fit 3.7?

15208-65F0A for the VQ37 filter
and
15208-65F0C for the VQ35 filter

Could be the other way around.

Anyone know the difference(s)?

Why bother trying to use the 3.5 filters?

They are two different cars. One has a 3.5 liter & the other has a 3.7 liter.

I will say the filters I ordered from the parts desk for the 370Z is the same filter I received when ordering a batch of them from a dealer for our 06 G35. This really doesn't surprise me too much that the same family of engines use the same (small) oil filter.

I didn't look that deeply into it...they fit, I use them.
