It sounds like a faulty or improperly installed aftermarket alarm. The only simple suggestion I can offer before you take it to the dealer is to check/replace the battery on

It sounds like a faulty or improperly installed aftermarket alarm. The only simple suggestion I can offer before you take it to the dealer is to check/replace the battery on the remote. I have the factory alarm on my Z but on my last car I had a Viper 5901 that would chirp the alarm when the battery on my remote was low. While the battery was low it would chirp when I hit Lock/Unlock/Trunk Pop/Remote Start... pretty much any button.
