How early is too early for synthetic?

Z1's package is great and amazing services. I changed mine at 1100 miles to Redline, before the change there is this metallic sound when the engine get under load, now

I changed mine at 1100 miles to Redline, before the change there is this metallic sound when the engine get under load, now with Redline that sound is gone. I am no expert but it does make me feel the car is running smoother especially when you are revving high.
