Steering lock problem solved (for real)

I had my car towed to the dealer today because of this issue and just now happened across this thread. My car (manufactured 11/2008) has the lock light on, but

I had my car towed to the dealer today because of this issue and just now happened across this thread. My car (manufactured 11/2008) has the lock light on, but I can still turn the steering wheel just fine. Will pulling the fuse work for this situation? I've got the car sitting at the dealership right now and I'm expecting them to call any minute with a diagnosis. Thanks!
