as caution again.. dont forget to have the car in accessory mode so its unlocked when you pull it out..

Altho dont be scared to try this incase you forget to have it unlocked before you pull the fuse.

just put the fuse back in... then unlock it and pull it out again.

Ya it was a bit tough to get it out, the tabs were easy to release but I had a tough time wiggling it out :ugh2:

I had to lift the windshield trim and the battery cover frame in order to have enough room to lift it out. Released the 2 tabs at the bottom to remove the cover and all worked out well. Thanks again guys, the fuse has been relocated to my arm rest compartment.

Not sure if mine would have failed, but i take a lot of road trips in the Z and would rather not leave it to chance.

Thanks!

Thanks for the pics, rep'd. Also rep'd Dai and Baer, thanks fellas!

just so I understand, you simply pulled the fuse box up and out? only the harness was holding it in place, no clips?

Thanks again fellas! :tiphat:

My harness was tucked into the frame a little, so be careful when lifting it out to not damage the harness. I used a long screwdriver to ease the harness away from the body cavity.

there are 2 sorta push tabs at the top.

Clearly visible at the top of the box. Push them and then pull up. First time i had to get it out was a bit tough... (No pun intended).

The box (when free of the clips) moves easily, just watch the harness like mentioned above

This is awesome, I was going to order the $50 part to get this fixed but this is a much better option. Going to run out and do this right now.
