Plus if there is enough problems with them then legally they will required to resolve the problem. Another reason why we need more formal complaints!

He has been working @ Nissan for 14 years I'd say he knows enough.

he knows enough sure but he has nothing to do with making the call to do a TSB or a recall

I found a Technical Service Bulletin about this that provides the affected VIN's of Nissan vehciles. The reference is NTB12-041 that was dated April 27, 2012.

 nice find! I want to look at it but I'm on my mobile for now, but will definitely check it when back at my comp.

If you guys would just go ck to see if you have the fuse then you have a steering lock,it would be quicker to see if you have the fuse(which means you have one)instead of all of this wasted research.

Done. Took about 5 minutes. The passenger airbag light if off though. I think I remember somebody on here saying something about an airbag light.

It has nothing to do with the airbag light!

New Findings

I have already replaced my steering lock unit last year :shakes head:

However, I think that the same problem is re-occurring again.... and I think that there are some early indications that area leading me to conclude that the same problem is about to re-occur and I would like to share these concerns with you guys:

[1] I keep having some throttle problems: Sometimes the "check engine" icon is one and I experience up-normal throttle (750/950 RPM),

[2] The A/C: sometimes the A/C unit just turn "ON" for no reason !!!! this is really strange, and

[3] The "Key" icon: sometimes the KEY icon turns "ON" for no reason also - because I remember that few days before my car stopped working the key icon was appearing regularly.

Guys, is there any link between these items ??? I have linked my conclusions to the manual photo which was posted by (GaleForce) Because the 10A fuse location #48 which is feeding the steering lock relay is located in the center between (a) the A/C Relay fuse and (b) the Throttle Relay. Is there ant possibility that an electrical problem (whatsoever) affect the surrounding Relays????

I would much appreciate someone to help me on this matter.
thanks

I was actually referring to the TSB they were talking about that I wanted to go read through. I have had the bypass harness in my car ever since it was made available. I was the one who actually PM'd Brian (bdl99) @ the carkitcompany.com to see if he could make a harness for this problem so we didn't just have to cut the wire (pre pull the fuse days). In the end once it was ready I got one of his prototypes from the original 5 I think it was that he made. I just love checking back in this thread to see whats going on, plus to tell new members to fix that stupid f*cking P.O.S. ASAP! :rofl2:
