Plasti dip or powder coat my stock rims?

I can't decide which would be better. for $340 I can get all my stock rims powder coated matte black OR save money and just do the plasti dip, but

I can't decide which would be better. for $340 I can get all my stock rims powder coated matte black OR save money and just do the plasti dip, but does that plasti dip last as long as I am hoping on the wheels? they probably get f'ed up when getting new tires with plasti dip..
