Why would he get lifelock (With monthly fees) when he can just freeze all three of his accounts (One time fee) for $30 or less and it will prevent anyone from getting credit in his name. Go to all three major credit bureas web sites and you can do this online.

I would advise you get life lock for a minimum of one year if not longer to watch your credit activity, its not just some credit report if anyone even yourself applies for something they find out about it and let you know.
Doesnt matter if they got just one card or the whole stack, active or not. Your information is off to the highest bidder.
