I would advise you get life lock for a minimum of one year if not longer to watch your credit activity, its not just some credit report if anyone even yourself applies for something they find out about it and let you know.
Doesnt matter if they got just one card or the whole stack, active or not. Your information is off to the highest bidder.

A) you are assuming that the thief is part of a identity theft ring and B) They can't do much without your social security number which hopefully wasn't in his wallet.
Cards do not contain any sensitive info about the owner (outside of the obvious things like name and visa number).
Most smash and grab thieves are not sophisticated enough or even brave enough to go through all that anyhow.
