True enough, while still an opinion about asthetics.

I am all for the freedom to spend your own money as one sees fit. If it were a Leaf red start button, would folks be so into it. I view it sort of like SS stickers on a V6 muscle car.

I see this completely differently. First, yeah, if it was a Leaf start button, I'd still like it more. I didn't order it for GTR, I bought it because it looked better in my opinion.

Secondly, it's not like SS stickers on a v6 camaro, because it's inside the car, barely noticeable, and nobody would confuse a 370z with a GTR visually. Up-badging a v6 car to a v8 is usually done to pretend like one car is the other. Nobody's looking at that button thinking, "Is this a GTR?"
