Good question. I think I would have to say no, I would not repurchase a 370z. There are too many fundamental shortcomings with this car and were I suddenly w/o my current car, I think I'd get a 350z nismo to tide me over until the Z35 comes out and see if nissan has listened to us here who track the car and hopefully they make a car with no brake cooling/ice mode issues, fuel starve, and a real lsd.

You only go around once in life. I'd want to try something else.

:iagree: Yes what I really wanted was a GT-R (about 98k new), BMW M3 (about 80k new & fully loaded), or a Cayman R (about 88k new & fully load). The only issue is that the price of these vehicle is crazy stupid & the car payment is an effen mortgage payment. I do not want to have a 1,200-1,800 monthy car payment HELL NO. I love my baby GT-R -aka- Mini GT-R (Nismo). To be quite honest I have seen more GT-R's on the road than I have seen Nismo's. So for me Nismo FTW.

Oh of course. But in reality, I might wait for the next installment of the Z. But I would have a z none the less

Sysopz 04-30-2012 08:08 PM

Really is a good question...I love my Z but IMO it's about 100hp short of the mark for me to get another, I really miss the V12 BiTurbo of my last car.

lol I might aim a bit lower than that and go for a CTS-V Sedan. Or even lower and look at a Corvette.

I said yes, because I do love the car, but mine is pretty much track only. On further reflection, I would probably get a spec 350z instead. And thats only if some idiot hits me and totals it on a rare occassion when I am on the street, since I only have liability. If its my fault, or the track, I'll just be done tracking for a bit.

red6spd 04-30-2012 08:13 PM

I would change only because I would like to try something new. I love my Z and have no plans to sell or trade her, but if she was totaled or stolen I would probably pick up a new STI sedan or wait and see if there gonna turbo this BR-Z thing.

The 370Z has been the perfect car for me at this point in my life. Love it to death. But if it got totalled or stolen I probably would not buy an exact replacement. I like variety, and would definitely want to try something else for a while. Maybe go upscale to a Cayman S or drop down to something like a BRZ. Still stick with a sports car, but a different flavor. Had a bunch and for the most part liked them all, from Alfa Romeo's to MGB-GT to Lancia Aurelia to Camaro to Miata to Corvette to Mercedes SL to RX-8 to 370Z... and the beat goes on.

Those are good choices. Well I'm not married & I do not have any kids...... If I had both, then my response would be completely different. I love the cars I listed, but in the end you have to come to terms with reality. I could be happy with a new GT500 sitting in my garage & take her out once in a blue moon.

I bought this car a month ago and have regrets sometimes because of things like non butter shifting, terrible drivers vision, horrible speakers, terrible gas mileage, quiet exhaust note unlike g35/350z,oil gets way hot, probably a few more things.

Love the looks alot, would not buy again. Regret not buying the Z4 M Coupe i wanted or saving up more for an e90 m3 or boss mustang somehow.

If you're in your break-in period, then the gas mileage may improve afterward. It did for me.

I would have to get something cheaper due to my financial status has changed due to I go to school now.
