If your car gets stolen and gutted they can match the windows to your car be the vin that's etched into every glass panel.

Previous owner paid for that on my car.

Hahaha that's a load of nonsense. Your car is stolen and gutted and sent overseas, but here's your windshield and your passenger window. Good thing you paid for that window etching.
