Perhaps you are just dumping the clutch each time? Try easing the clutch out

what he said... can't think of a mechanical issue that would cause this unless you were waaay over/under inflated or broken shaft / suspension... unlikely if you just picked up the car

stop "popping" the clutch... if that's what you're doing, then try practicing clutch releases on a dirt road... once you can do it right there, you'll be fine on pavement

I'm definitely going to try this.
I must admit I am not 100% good with the clutch still.

I'm not sure what the confusion is here.

You have VDC off. You are saying you are getting wheel slip and chirping.... Are you mashing the pedal and dropping the clutch? Without a doubt the tires, even brand new will slip if you launch at high RPM.

What RPM are you launching at? Are you mashing the pedal between shifts? Is your friends A4 an auto?

I have vdc off. I have vdc on.
I always smash the pedal, but I tried dumping the clutch and I tried letting it go easy
Yes my friends A4 is an auto

Aren't you supposed to have pedal to the medal?

I don't think mine have broke traction on the 3-4 shift yet alone 4-5 or 5-6. SLippery roads maybe?

It was a piece of cake for me after the stock Potenzas had 10K miles (never been in a position to try it 5-6)

Willing to bet it's just his light coming on and not really breaking traction. Just a thought.

Have you really lit them up. Done some donuts or brake stands? If you roast your tires you can mess up the vulcanization of the rubber and they will be runined.

no i have not really lit them up
no i haven't done donuts with it. not interested
no the pavement isn't wet neither.
the light comes on yes, but i feel the car holding it back. i hear my tires, it just feels wrong. i feel like i lose a lot power when switching gears as well and i had my brother watch me before. he said the same thing. the tires slip too much when i switch gears as well. and i gotta have at least 80% on those tires.
I've tried doing with "VDC" (i think is called) off too.

i raced my boy on the track in english town jersey just to play around.
he had an audi 2008-2009 A4 sedan Automatic. i lost. every time i switched gears he got ahead of me. -_- i was pissed because i know the Z is much lighter and faster then his car.
i did give him a head start.... but still
