Heard that from one of your posts from yesterday too, sometimes headaches-stuffs can be very annoying... and for days to week, I think it's just like menstruation...(just saying, I've never experienced one, ok!!)

I always tell myself "anything could happen and it could be worse..", kind of a way to get myself back together thus get myself going.. LOL

Or, I'll take the Z for a ride... I think it's the most effective quick-fix

Evening all, just read 15 pages, a record for me. Great day (Sunday) at Mr. onzedge. The boys fixed my bros whirling sound from oil cooler install, I think. Have not driven it yet to tell. Swapped for new set of Amsoil Nano Fiber air filters for Injen CAI. At the same time it was suggested to remove the panel next to the fang for increased air flow. It works!!. Good meeting Serenity, will have do dinner next time you are in town. Donald you could have posted a better pic of me...lol. Looked like I catching a fly....haha. Steve thanks for the suggestion on the mic for the gopro2, mixed reviews thou on Amazon, still gonna pick it up. LaterZ

Much better Mr.onzedge Long overdue for a haircut.

As mentioned in earlier post....the panel next to the fang is removeable, held on with some clips. It was removed as seen in photo (botton right) along with the panel on the body to open up air flow to the filters. Rain is not directed to the filters as the filters are off to the side. And if a torrential downpour occurs I already have (temp solution) some rags in a sandwich ziplock bag that I can stuff in the opening until the rain stops. The car sounds much more throaty and I can hear and feel (butt dyno) the difference. Master Tech - Colin (Mr.onzedge' son) confirmed this with his test drive of my car.

Liking the Z more and more after every visit to Mr. onzedge

Well in 2009 some guy won some invention contest for the exact idea that I had. The idea was to create a ceiling fan that would simply screw into a standard light bulb socket so that it did not have to be hard wired in. It could go from home to home or room to room no problem as you just unscrew it and screw it into another light socket. Damn it for not executing on my idea back in college.
I created the Swiffer wet jet more or less during a grade school invention contest back in like 1991 or so. I had a mop with a soda bottle about mid way on the handle that held soapy water. It had two tubes that ran out of it and down into the mops sponge. I had a little valve on the lines that could be turned on or off to let the soapy water travel down to the mop. I was told by an Exxon employee (Exxon sponsored the invention contest) that it was a terrible idea

ZFORCE, I was shopping an external Hero 2 mic as well. I also took Steves advice on the Audio Technica Pro 24cm. Received it yesterday. Looks like a good little unit. Did a few sound checks on my PC with it and it sounds pretty good. Def some white noise in the background though. The price was right and the size is nice. Its very small and should be easy to mount. Cant wait for my Hero 2 to come in so I can really test it out. Just sold my first gen Hero on Monday and my new Hero2 is on order Here is a pic of the mic. Its mounted on an OPteka XGRIP that I picked up too for handheld applications. The GoPro will mount on the bottom below the mic.

GMORNING EVERYONE!!!

Alchemy, thanks bro, def gonna add to my collection. Hopefully it will mount to my onborad head rest camera mount S-bar. I also read the reviews about the background noise...humm. How was the sound level? Reviewers on Amazon complained about it...but it may depend on the camera being used. Gonna hold off on the XGrip for time being but liked it after I saw the demo video. Hero2 ??? When did they come out with this? I bought mine in 2011 but don't recall the big sticker on the front with Hero2. Checked GoPro website and did not see any differences. Reps coming your way, along with Steve and Mr. onzedge (for previous post). Btw guys for the record, myself nor Serenty did not get the Michelin hand stamp the other day at Mr. onzedge's place. And we also yelled five times KONI, and still no stamp.

The Hero 2 released toward the end of last year I believe. Its twice as powerful as the original HD Hero in about every way I havent done much testing with the mic. Just hooked it up to the computer last night for a quick sound check to make sure it worked.

Darn...electronics are outdated the moment you walk out the store. I have to find an adaptor to connect it to my headrest camera bar. Gonna be a few weeks before I can $$ it. Will need to read up on the GoPro2 differences.

Drove it to and from work. Then I let it sit and watch as I pulled the carbs off the 240Z.
