I drove the Z to HRE, today, dropped off a wheel i nicked up while driving last night getting pinched between a dumb driver that decided to change lanes at the last minute and a curb... so i chose the curb instead of the whole car... just took off the clear coat....

dude.. that's sucks... sorry to hear that....

true, lots of dumb drivers on the road, nowadays I always try to leave some space in between or quickly pass them thus less worry while driving alongside them.....

Hope the repair is quick and easy-on-wallet

Yeah, I am usually pretty good about it but for some reason was off last night ugh...

In other light

My car looks weak, i have a Sport wheel upfront with the rest still being HRE's man, that thing sits so....

Well, I loaded up the good stuff and took em to the local Tire Kingdom tonight. I asked the front desk personnel if they had time to mount 'em up for me. She went outside, conferred with her manager and came back with a "not tonight, because we've only got the new guy working and don't want to risk him touching those wheels!"

I appreciated their candor and told them I'd be back.

**NOOB QUESTION ALERT**

I am aware that this is the wrong part of the forum but I trust you guys to not make too much fun of me.

Ok, my Z is the only car I've actually decided to try to do my own (within easy reason) maintenance on. Did the first oil change this past weekend and when we checked the level, it was a bit low so we added just a teeny tiny bit more. I checked it today at work after letting the car sit for 2 hours. It was well over the high line (a bit higher than where the picture shows). Decided to let it sit until I was out and checked it again. Below is the result. Since I'm not set up at home yet to drain a bit, would it be fine to just let it sit until the next change? Is this even something to worry about? Sorry for the noob questions!

hey Ms.Pintsize725, I don't do my oil change but by looking at the dip stick, I'll suggest you drain some when you got home, but you know to let the Z sit for 2 hours first..

if you put too much oil in, you can use either an extractor to suction oil out of the dipstick tube, or the messy way is to loosen the oil filter (dont pull it out) and let the oil drip out from the bottom. do not try to let oil out from the plug unless you have a fumoto valve where you can stop mid stream. like taking a pee, once you let go, it's hard to stop. haha
Thanks guys for the answers and not giving me a hard time. If the reading is the same in the morning, I'll probably just ask the techs to handle it when I take it in for the install.
