My firm is changing broker-dealers and we have an audit two days after I return from ZDayZ. Since I'm in charge of all trading, account ops, research, etc. I am responsible for getting all of our accounts ready (we have a little over 700 accounts and I need to get about 190 done before I leave) for the switch as well as getting things ready for the audit. I've been doing 12-14 hour days this week. I'll get a break for ZDayZ then when I get back it's right back into the 12-14 hour day swing for at least a few more weeks.

Then I'm going to need another vacation. Which hopefully will be paid for by a healthy bonus. :yum:

Hey Alchemy, never got to ask you how you liked your Koni's since I've barely been around lately.

Yep. I am trying to plan a quieter getaway for August. Somewhere on a beach.

BTW, while I was watching the video you post, afterward I click on the kenwood one, and I think you might consider the Kenwood HU since they are using GARMIN GPS system too, yes, I am more favorite on Kenwood over Pioneer, LOL, maybe because they are the only brand capable of displaying Chinese characters.

Too bad it doesn't demo the real-time reading from those gauges but I think it shouldn't be that bad.

You are very welcome :tiphat: :tiphat:

gmorning, mr.alcheng! thanks. yah, actually i was checking that top of the line kenwood and the pioneer HU (140BH) with nav out too, but the thing about having to pay for map updates for these HU just didn't make sense to me. they cost like 70-130 depending on the manufacturer. :ugh2: wat i wanted to do was get a nav unit with BT that i can use in my G, then use the G's 7" pioneer HU in my Z + BT obd2 monitor (my Z currently uses a 5.8" LCD pioneer HU, not that it's bad, i just wanted a larger screen).

so what i decided was, im going to be upgrading my droid next month anyway, so i will use the Droid4 in my G with power cradle (phone & googlemaps). i usually have my smartphone's BT turned off to save battery power anyway and dont feel like toggling each time i get in the car.

and for the Z, i got the new 5" nuvi with BT & free map updates, and BT obd module so i have gauge monitoring that i wanted. :p i dont use my phone in my Z unless for emergencies. i should be all set for a while. :p

Good morning Z family. :hello: No Z for me today. It's not raining now, but the forecast is iffy so I left the Z home. However, the forecast predicts an improvement in the weather later so I may take her out this evening. :driving:

m4a1mustang 05-10-2012 09:32 AM

btw if anyone has suggestions on quiet east coast ocean vacation spots, let me know.

Nick911sc 05-10-2012 09:39 AM

I'm heading out to Montauk (The Hamptons) tomorrow, I'd give that a look.

Pintsize725 05-10-2012 09:58 AM
