Morning, Gurney man.

I went to sleep, but woke up at 6:30, unable to fall back asleep. So, I figured why not go into the370z.com?

Fixed

For me it was getting the swifts to compress enough for me to get the strut top hat back on. :ugh2:

i see. you used a spring compressor for this step, right? :) linear springs dont like to compress too much by hand.

onzedge 04-13-2012 11:22 AM

Spring compression is no problemo with this guy:

ZMan8 04-13-2012 11:25 AM

^ that will do the job.

I have a hand held little one i got for cheap

kenchan 04-13-2012 11:27 AM

those wall mount compressors are super handy for sure. i almost bought one for my garage.

if my kids get into modding cars when they're older i guess i will get one. for the non-commercial use one it wasn't expensive. like $250-350 range. i was thinking of buying it and charging local buddes $50 each for doing their cars. in no time it'd be paid for. :D

That'd be pretty smart, but I don't know know if it would pay for itself.. Aren't you like 007 super covert spy, and ultra guarded about where you live? I can imagine a huge door opening in the side of a mountain, and Ken-San's Z sliding out just in time for the door to slam shut again! :rofl2:

Fire 04-13-2012 11:35 AM
