night, fire! :hello:

A friend of mine built one of these into a nice bird house (stealthy). He did this because he thought the neighbour kid was using his pool when he wasn't home. The trail cams are great because they are activated by motion and are good for night time. Maybe you can find a compact version?

I'm off to Florida tomorrow, car will be covered for 3 weeks :( I swear, next year, I will put money aside and I'm shipping my car down to Florida so I can enjoy the roads :driving:

Good morning guys and gals :hello:

I forgot to tell you about something that's happened yesterday.

As you know I took the Z out for a drive. Well, before I left, I texted my wife that I was going to take the Z for a spin. When I returned home I removed the license plates and proceeded to foam/wash the Z then I brought it into the garage to dry it off and clay it. My wife arrives home while I'm claying, we're talking for a little bit, then she notices a Police Car pulls up in front of our neighbours house. She looks at me, looks at the Z with no license plates, and says to me, you weren't excessively speeding today were you?

Guilty until proven innocent :bowrofl:

mr.gale- thanks, im going to reseach some more; thanks for the leads.

so mr.happy, your car was okay then? that's  news. :p

good morning, everyone :hello:

so it looks like amazon screwed up my order for my new nuvi this am so i cancelled the order along with the stubby bracket. it's one thing to send me an email to let me know they screwed up, but i had it scheduled for overnight shipping for today's arrival. they didn't even consider re-arranging the shipment for saturday delivery; only stated they will give me "free-shipping" for monday delivery (which is the same as the free-2 day shipping i get anyway) :shakes head: wtf.

As someone who sells on Amazon, just consider yourself lucky that you were notified at all! Amazon is the devil.

Morning y'all! I'm hitting up the Austin Auto Show after work today. If you have me added on Facebook, I'm sure I'll be posting pictures later. After that, I'm heading out to the hill country to get a small paint job done on the Z.

TGIF!

You should consider Koni's at the same time. Dang it, I am getting aroused just writing this.

TGIF!

they're actually pretty good 99% of the time. this is why i have a premier account and most of the time only buy from amazon stock or 'fulfilled by amazon' stock. for other vendors i can usually find them at their ebay store for less $. :icon17:

I can only have some many gifts at once! lmao j/k

I was originally planning on doing them at the same time, but when the deal for the swifts came I couldn't pass it up.

Gonna be doing 15mm/20mm H&R DRS spacers as well.

Is my alignment going to be able to get back to spec? Or should I just buy the toe bolts.

kenchan 05-18-2012 09:55 AM

i think you want to get the spc camber arms mr.onzedge has, nick.

I was able to get my alignment in spec without toe bolts. I did, however, need the rear camber arms when I installed the Swifts.

Just to clarify, do you mean you needed the camber arms when you installed the Koni's?

No -- I needed the rear camber arms when I installed the Swift springs alone (which I did a few months before the Koni's).

I threw the Koni shot in there to tempt you and to bring myself a little happiness on a messed up Friday that is capping off an extremely draining week. OK I have to stop writing now before I go off on a rant.

kenchan 05-18-2012 10:04 AM

mr.onzedge- TGIF~!

Nick911sc 05-18-2012 10:05 AM

haha, I'm curious though... Excuse my ignorance, I haven't seen anyone need the rear camber arms when installing the swifts... Am I going to need to pick those up as well?

Check this out: All the folks I know who installed Swifts got the aftermarket camber arms at the same time. I have heard rumors that you may be able to get in spec with the OEM arms, but why take the chance? I doubt you will be able to adjust the factory arms enough.

If anyone else has a different experience, please chime in and help a brother out.

Nick911sc 05-18-2012 10:10 AM

yea, please chime in so I know how much more money I have to spend! haha

Much appreciated though
