Agreed. I can't stand driving anything lesser. My Z was down all last week and I was driving my old non-turbo 06' Subaru impreza. Oh man that was torture!

I am one of those guys. To me, I dont drive it in the rain, I get it off the road before any salt/chemicals are thrown down on the roads, i dont bring it to car washes (hand wash only), so I make sure its garaged prior to being too cold, the more miles i have on it, the lesser the value i feel i have on it, the more i drive it, the more issues i find it having, including paint chips, RATTLING!!! and things of that nature...

I would say the people who only put a couple thousand miles on it a year are those who really like and care for their car... And lets be honest, its not the most practical car to drive, so to me, its the car i take when it wont cause me problems....

Luckily, its not my Daily Driver...

So there ya go, some reasons haha.

Out of curiosity what major repairs have you had done in that 100k? (or since you've had it if you bought used)

Nice!!!

TheGreatOne 12-13-2012 02:45 PM

Ya, I can respect those who have the self restraint not to drive it so often....

But on the other hand, I love my Z so much I want to be seen in it all the time lol.

It hurts inside when I drive a lesser car that is not turning heads...like those who can drive a beater all week and then only pull out the Z on the weekend, more power to you...I just can't do it....so I will take my Z whenever I can

When it rains or weather is poor, I'll take another car for sure....

congrats on 100K

It's hard to drive my other car too, it has higher mileage also, but the Z is just soooo fun!:driving:

I'm at 56K, I drive it as my everyday car! Although I hope I can sell it for a newer one when the time comes; I have been thinking of buying a junker to drive everyday... but where is the fun in that?

I thought the same thing.. But then i think about what $2000-3000 gets me in gas for the 370z. & then i continue to drive it.

I figure when the time comes, ill just drop a new engine in it!

Haboob 12-21-2012 02:44 PM

Closing in on 1500mi... she's two weeks old today. I just can't stop driving her. :excited:

Bongo1210 12-22-2012 02:24 PM

I have 97,000 miles on my 2009. I have the synchrorev match too. Drives much better still than my 07 Nismo 350z

paperboy42190 08-01-2013 02:45 PM

looks like these cars are lasting well with the mileage!
