Once I got a ticket for no front plate while my car was parked on the street in front of my house. It was a $10 fix-it ticket and the plate was off once I cleared it. It was strange, someone in my neighborhood must've ratted me out. Then my housemate moved out and I took over the garage and I haven't had a problem since.
