Similar bad story on Eibachs over stock dampers... put them on my street car, a honda, and ended up blowing the dampers within weeks... despite the fact that Eibach claimed perfect fitment, they put too much stress on the dampers

I person I know claimed that his Eibach springs (on a different car) cracked up under the stress from the track, and when he inspected it they crumbled into 4 or 5 pieces. So maybe they're aren't the best choice after all.

Yes..Eibachs have wide usage and an excellent reputation. I've also used Tokico's as well as Bilteins and am a big fan of both..I'm going to hold out a bit til those options are on the table...Though a shock swap on this car does not look like a lot of work so no major labor lost.. |
