I would get a bucket of hot or warm soapy water (a car shampoo soap I mean) get a microfiber towel soak the towel and just take it out and leave it on the area with the egg on it... keep it there for a few minutes and see if it wipes off. If not keep doing it until it softens it enough. If you live in this sort of area you may want to invest in either opti-coat or cquartz as a paint protector... you could even get the whole car covered with the clear bra, but that can be expensive.
