Does the 370Z scream "HIT ME" while parked?

Yes it screams hit me. While washing her this weekend, I noticed someone hit my passenger side with their door and left a pretty deep scratch. I park away from anyone when I can and try not to take her out too much.

You know............I do the same. I park in the way out there areas of the parking lot when possible, but I use the island(s) when I can't. I parked in a lot that no-one wanted to go into because of potholes and other craziness. I come back to my car to find a Mustang GT parked right next to me in and the parking lot was empty..............luckily hit didn't ding my door!

I found if you park to far out you endup with more a-holes trying to park near you then if you were to park in the middle or find a good spot between two people or find a upfront corner spot.

That is my 2 cents... might not make sense but when you try and blend in you dont stand out as much

i thought so to but it really doesnt help. I've had more problems when parking close and blending in than parking farther out. if you park far out a dbag would really have to go out of their way to fukc with you, and they are usually too lazy to do that

I believe that is true in the "normal" world, but on military bases I seem to find the "motivated" d-bags. When I was @ Fort Gordon for training, people would try to get to the schoolhouse before me and park in the far corner where I would normally park.........

When you park away from the crowd in the corner, you definitely draw attention to yourself. I think most people will respect your car and leave it alone. Of course there are dou***bags that go out of their way to mess with your car.

I've noticed when parking in the middle of the parking lot near many cars, it gets a lot of minor scratches and dings. Because there are so many people passing by it to get to their car, they may glide against the paint without noticing it.

Sure, I like to park next to nice cars so I can check them out a little bit closer. I never mean to infringe on their 'personal space'. I'm careful not to damage the paint when looking inside >

I believe it just comes down to respect for oneself as well as others, which a lot of people are lacking and sadly to say, simply don't care.

I remember a guy on Autopia that was a little whacked about his car (It's a cleaning site, a lot of OCD people). He carried cones and caution tape with him wherever he went and roped off his car so people would say away from it. He also had these big inflatable bumpers that hung from the window sills (think inflatable pool raft) to protect the doors just in case someone got inside the caution tape. Everyone thought he was just joking @ first then realized that it was really the way the guy parked. And it wasn't like it was a Veyron or something, just an average car.
The world needs more people like this so I seem more normal...

This forum is very cathartic to read. Nice to know others go through what I am experiencing and thinking while taking good care of my Z.

I just don't understand why people on welfare need to make a point it's like dude you are already taking our tax dollars why more do you want? Go to college get a job and then you will experience a good ride.

People don't understand what hard work is in America now. I vote for a new revolution.
