How much have you spent in modifications?
Share if you want and aren't shy about that type of thing. Include performance, stereo, wheels, etc. I'm just curious. Poll is anonymous.
I'm in the $10k-15k range. |
Much more than my wife will ever know.
|
Haha. Awesome. It's a good thing I'm single, otherwise I'd be in the same situation.
|
Tint=$440
Valentine 1/ Blendmount/Invisicord setup=$550 Berk CBE=$999 + credit to install at dealership which I could have exchanged for $500 off the car. Almost a full wrap: $1700 |
I think most people try not to think about it.... lol

Last count was about $22,000.
And I've enjoyed every dollar spent on it! |

OK -- I just checked and, counting the Pilot Super Sports, the total is more like $6,850.00.
|
I have over 20K and not even TT. :shakes head::tup:
|
I'm not counting tires, you'll have to replace them regardless. They're more maintenance in my book unless you have a spare set for the track that is...
|
right around 10k :ughdance:
|
~4k (just got eibach sway bars)

I've had my Z for 2 months, and I've spent about $2800 on it. And it's not like I actually have that money laying around. I have a mod problem :(

You should have called me first. |
haha, I won't mention how much I've spent. But I was going over what I've done to the car in two years in my mind, and I was quite shocked to think of how extensively modded my car is. And it weren't cheap :rofl2:
The mod list: OEM fog lamp (with OEM interior switch), Touring pedals, Injen long tube Cold Air Intakes, TWM Leopard A6 shift knob, premium floor mats, Custom one-off Leather seats and door cards, GTR start button, Z1 25-row Setrab oil cooler, Z1 Akebono BBK brake package (Z Nationals 2011 raffle prize) with 40th red calipers and slotted rotors, Stainless Steel brake lines, Motul hi temp brake fluid, Hawk HPS brake pads, z plate frames and valve stem caps Soon to be on the car: Forgestar F14 wheels (19x9, 19x10), Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires (245, 275) |

In the $2500 - 5000 Range
My Fast Intentions exhaust has been the most expensive so far. I know if I got wheels, that would make that jump, I feel on the Z thats often one of the bigger investments (outside of TT etc) since really good sets like SSR etc are 4-5K |

Pretty happy with my sports since they are color matched. Now that I have spacers, the stance and look just got better |
Probably close to 7k, not sure of the exact number. Recent big ticket item were my RE-11 tires.

But, the base 18's don't hold enough tire for my tracking ambitions, and since I was doing new wheels, I decided against simply copying the stock 19's. Wanted something different. |
Well if I count driver mods...
|
Does replacing my tyres count as a mod or maintenance?
|
Yikes. I'm trying to stay away from modding and that is a big reason why I bought the Z. I do have about $1k into it at this point, but only tints and the navi/headunit.
$15k into my 97 GSX $8k into my 08 Evo X $10k into my 05 Evo 8 Needless to say, i'd rather have a downpayment on a house at this point then another $10k in parts into my car. |

|
