Good luck

Well, good luck.......whatever your choice. The Z is a very enjoyable drive, with upgraded curves that make her look beautiful. But, a dream is a dream. If you can make it a reality................:tiphat:

Im not bashing the supra but i have a feeling the dream affect will be lost after you own it.

It will be like, wheres my rev match? Wheres my .99g skid pad? etc etc

I never really could feel that since I only had GT-R's. 4wd just wont slide out from under you. Wasnt gonna pull my fuses to make it RWD only and jack the cpu system. None the less I loved it when I tooled around in his Supra. You wont be disappointed at all. As far as the ricer movie analogy.........They have utilized the Supra, Skyline,RX-7 and Mitsubishi......so who cares. I promise you, get the Supra, make it look nice(minus the rediculous sticker tuning that some people do) and nobody will even think of you as driving a ricer movie race car.

Contrary to some peoples belief, each sticker added does not increase HP by 5.

lol duly noted on the stickers, thanks

I love the Supra as it looks from the factory, but along with the aforementioned BPU+ mods, the car has Volk TE28's and 98 headlights.

Indeed you may be right, but I would always regret it if I didn't at least entertain the possibility given the opportunity in front of me.

I have gotten quite accustomed to the rev match oddly enough, I hope to see this on more cars in the future.

I've never heard of Volk TE28s. TE37s, yes, but not TE28s. Do you by chance have a pic? I'm curious to see what these look like. Or did you maybe mean CE28s?

NotmyGTR 06-01-2009 04:39 PM

Had to mean CE

Had to mean CE28's, or CE28n. I loved the GT-C's myself.

Oops, yes they are CE's, not TE's, my mistake.

Here is a picture of the car

Actually...those look like TE37s to me. This is what CE28s look like:

Not that it really matters. Either way, those are awesome looking rims on a very nice looking car.

semtex 06-01-2009 04:50 PM

Here's a pic of TE37 in 'Mercury Silver' (from the Rays website). I think that's what's on this Supra.

You're right Semtex, I knew I had one of them right. They are plainly the TE's

NotmyGTR 06-01-2009 11:30 PM

Tuned???Engine pics??

Thats a damn shame having such a large aftermarket intercooler installed with a stock front end. Kills the point with the lack of air flow. Car looks great on the outside.......cept for that stock front end, and Ive never been a huge fan of the Whale fin of a spoiler. Can you post up some engine bay pics?

Just curious why you didn't hold out for a Supra in the first place? I mean if it was your dream car and all...
