2013 Nissan 370Z Updates - Just facts, no BS.
I'll try to keep this post updated as facts come in.
The updates for the new model year include: a slightly changed front end that includes LED running lights, a slightly changed rear end, and some new wheel options. No performance or engine changes in this 2013 refresh. • Refreshed front fascia with vertical LED daytime running lights • Red reflector added to rear fascia (replaces previous black center cover) • Revised 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels (Sport Package equipped models) • New 18-inch wheels for 370Z Coupe • Red-finished brake calipers (Sport Package equipped models) • Dark-finish fuel gauge trim • Euro-tuned shock absorbers (Sport Package equipped models) - Probably the same as the Euro GT version. Forum user 'bvl' says, "Traditionally, european cars with sport suspensions are a bit firmer then US sport suspensions." • And two new exterior colors – Magma Red and Midnight Blue • It is pure sex. • It is hot. • It is loud. • It is rough. The NISMO 370Z • brake ducts (?) • new Bose Premium Audio Package with two additional speakers and two subwoofers, • premium gun metallic dark-finish 19-inch wheels, • and Nissan GT-R style high-rigidity brake hoses and performance brake fluid. • does not adopt the new front fascia/rear reflector, Euro-tuned shocks or Midnight Blue exterior color. • red calipers Quote:
As in 2012, the 2013 370Z Coupe and 370Z Coupe Touring will each be available with a standard 332-horsepower 3.7-liter DOHC V6 engine and choice of 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed automatic transmission. The 2013 370Z Roadster and 370Z Roadster Touring will be offered with the same engine but with the 6-speed manual offered only with the Touring model (the 7-speed automatic transmission is available with both). The Nissan NISMO 370Z, will once again cap off the lineup – offering racing-inspired exterior and interior styling, a specially tuned suspension and unique super-lightweight forged alloy wheels. Its 3.7-liter DOHC V6 engine is matched with an exclusive H-configured exhaust system design, muffler tuning and optimized ECM (Engine Computer Module) control – creating 350 horsepower and 276 lb-ft of torque. Only one transmission is available, a close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission with standard SynchroRev Match, which allows rev-matched heel-toe-like downshifting. Additional details on the 2013 Nissan 370Z will be available closer to the June on-sale date. http://www.autoguide.com/gallery/gal...san-370Z01.JPG and a slideshow: Thanks of MAXSIMIZER for the pics below!! Well done and thanks for posting. The front is growing on me even more. The smooth no fang look is very nice.
I like the unbroken look in that area and the lights are a nice touch. That is the color I will order. I cant wait until they are avail! I do like my 2010 and this is even better. |
That is a beautiful color! Anyone find pictures of the "midnight blue"?

I know this is a fact(s) thread. Just did a quick PS of the possible blue and it looks sharp. I think those that miss the "Fangs" (including myself) I added them back (painted them from black to the car color) I have to say that I think this car looks sharper with the fangs + the led lights, although I do miss the original sport wheels. What do you think?

Please use this tread as reference if you see a new thread posted with the same topic (meaning, show them this thread). Stickied. Thread strictly dedicated to 2013 370Z pictures, videos and review from various sites. Thanks

this kit looks very similar to the 2013 redesign, albeit a more agressive (and ugly) front end

I just with they would get rid of the clock in the triple gauge; install it in the data cluster and give us a oil pressure gauge in the triple gauge stack. That would be more useful. Expecially since a lot of us go to aftermarket stereos with clocks built in anyways. Or, they could put the clock in the factory radio like a lot of other OEM's do. Just saying .... |
Well judging based on the photos on the Internet its looks have improved. I'm sure it looks even better in real life.

but it is a subjective thing |
It's growing on me, but they're going backwards not forwards. It looks too much like the 350 front bumper; I love the fangs but it looks good without them too.
|
not a big fan of the new wheels, I liked the previous RAYS better

I got pissed because i just got a 2012 nismo 370z pw....and i wanted to have factory gun metal rims and bose system. Luckliy i informed nissan and they will work with me.
|
Are there pictures of the gunmetal nismo rays? If they are the same as the 40th anniversary gunmetal I am swapping wheels.

Personally I love my 2012 fangs, but of course I like snakes too, so I may be a bit bias towards fangs, but I guess I can appreciate the less mean look of the 2013....it looks more.....saphisticated..refined....maybe?
|
Wow, so someone actually thought this thread was worth becoming a sticky? Lol.

i like the front end as is. but the2013 is not bad.
i really like the day light running lights. even though they remind me of the rear end reflectors on the 350 |
Next car is this or a porsche (if money allows, and used of course lol)
|
wonder if they will offer a kit or something, so we can black out ours
