One under reported feature, the intake system was designed to use the same air as a GTR

Hey guys, I just read this on Nissan's site about the sport brake package

"Balance doesn't just apply to cornering. Bringing the powerful Z® to a halt are its largest brakes ever - available 14" front rotors, with the gripping power of 4-piston front calipers. Purpose-designed ducting helps to reduce fade and provide predictable and precise stopping power."

Did they actully plumb cooling hoses to the brakes now? Can someone confirm this? I know there is a DIY & stillens kit, but it sounds like it's now factory.

Just ordered my 2013 (hard to believe but there were no Touring 6spd Black on Black in Northern CA).

Was anyone ever able to confirm if the 2013 Sport Pkgs have stock brake cooling ducts?

^ No........ read the previous page post. Only the Nismo comes with it.

this kit looks very similar to the 2013 redesign, albeit a more agressive (and ugly) front end

My god imagine owning that!

I definitely would like to see pic of the Nismo OEM brake duct

I would too. And wouldn't it be purchasable to be installed?

Also curious how it compares to the Stillen kit. Has anyone used or heard reviews about the Stillen kit?
