Yeah, me too. It's my desktop picture now

Did they do anything about the oil temps?

Well starting form 2012 all 370z come with an oil cooler so there shouldn't be as many issues with temps

(note for track most people will need to upgrade to aftermarket still)

kenchan 02-09-2012 04:16 PM

hey, who's the 3 that's been making up new handles and polling 4 times (12 total)? :icon17:

AdobePhil 02-09-2012 05:47 PM

Looks like 13 is Nissan's unlucky number.

The front makes the Z look more like a sedan than a sports car IMO. I like my 2010. Not hating if this is your thing, but it definitely isn't mine.

6MT 02-09-2012 05:50 PM

Still more than 51% believe Nissan failed....

SPOHN 02-09-2012 06:18 PM

Hey, they could of put a hump in the hood like the 07 350's.

Kingbaby 02-09-2012 06:40 PM

^^^

or like the s30 that it's suppose to look like

yellogixxer 02-09-2012 07:47 PM

Well I love the red calipers na dthe black interior, don't like the new wheels, and am pretty much indifferent to the front facia. I'll just keep my '11 thank you.

ZeeingAround 02-09-2012 07:52 PM

Me no Likey.

shadoquad 02-09-2012 07:55 PM

I don't think it looks better than the fangs, but I think it is still attractive.

It's a Z car, what's not to love? :D

The interwebz does not run on love, just hate and hate alone!!! Ok, maybe some pr0n... :rofl2:

And I would not call it unattractive, just not what I would think of when it comes to progression of the styling. Then again, sometimes we must take a step back before we can move ourselves forward.

gurneyeagle 02-09-2012 08:06 PM

I'm indifferent. I doubt if "Joe Public" will even notice the difference.

I still prefer the Nismo nose and wheels. Go figure.

MY PARTNER AND I not loved the 370z in the beginning, But since this individual have one, post often drive then slowly and gradually like, I do like quite possibly offering the bose stereo so are upgradeing the brake wrinkles, Actions Sports Camera, sport models is often a nice touch.

i'm planning on purchasing a 2012 z soon this new re amped model will not stop me. Not a fan of the front fascia, rims look alright and red brakes are not a big deal at all for me at least.

kidkotic2001 02-10-2012 09:29 AM

So what is different beside the side markers on the front bumper and the new Rays design which I do not like at all.
No extra HP means I will stay with my 09

New suspension and that is it outside of the cosmetic changes.

^This.

Rio23mob 02-20-2012 08:41 PM

just how daemon 1957 stated there going backwards in there front bumper design. Looks like a new 350z bumper, 09-12 has a more aggressive look in the front design.

Rio23mob 02-20-2012 08:42 PM

New shocks does not = new suspension.

I don't think it is Nissan's intention to lure customers who have already purchased a 2009-2012 model. Looks like they did a nice job of simply refreshing the 2013 based on what a lot of us have done to improve the current design (ie blacked out fangs, black gauges, LED's & red calipers.) If I was in the market to purchase a Z today, i'd wait for this, but in no way am I disappointed with my 2010 after seeing this.

I think Nissan designed this car to get 350z loyalists to want to trade up. When the 370 gets criticized in the 350z forums. Most are commenting how ugly the front is. And since the Z falls short on attracting new buyers. They probably are just trying to lure in old ones that weren't convinced from the 09-12 models?

nmjaxx9 03-08-2012 10:30 AM

Yeah i think they are appealing to 350z owners, but people who were a fan of the old 370z design will most likely be dissapointed if they wanted to get a new 370Z.

I guess they can still get a 09-12 :icon17:

speedfreek 03-08-2012 10:47 AM

Well I dont care for it. That is why I just bought a '12 model. I like the fangs and front bumper design on the '09-'12. The new wheels would make me want to go aftermarket ASAP. Whereas my current ones I like and I am in no rush to ditch them. Other than that its the same car.

MrBrendan 03-08-2012 01:26 PM

I agree with you Unknown. Getting 350Z owners to trade up makes sense. The rest of us will just have to wait until 2014/2015 for a significant change. Lets hope for classic styling and more power (torque)

If you like the new wheels? You can wait for someone to buy a 13 and when they start modding a sport. You can buy the new sprt wheels at a discount.

No I do not like the new '13 wheels. What I meant by what I said was that if I had the '13 wheels I would want to sell them and get aftermarket right away. Whereas with the current Sport Wheels I can live with them as I like the design and am in no hurry to get rid of them for aftermarket.

my2004Z 03-08-2012 02:01 PM

Nope, don't like it. Looks too mainstream with the new front end.

ZMan8 03-08-2012 02:57 PM

Nissan played the safe card on this one.
-They made a redesign with hopes of getting all those 350z owners to make a switch.
-The less aggressive wheels/front end in hopes of getting casual buyers in.

livethefunk 03-09-2012 12:35 AM

the car doesn't have the same bite. what they did with the front end was very stupid in my opinion. they already offered day time LED's and no one got them so why make it a permeant part of the car. at least make them look cooler. that looks like some hyundai ****.

I agree about the hyundai part. :icon17:

vo2max99 03-10-2012 02:13 AM

Looks like some nice cosmetic improvements with the front end and wheels. I'm sure it'll look a lot better in person. Internet photos often don't do a cars looks much justice. Naturally no one wants to admit they bought the wrong car or that their car is in anyway inferior.
